But it's all one word though. Why would I put spaces... I may use - though But seriously, what is your problem with them If I already thoroughly explained. If you want to continue this argument I would rather have it in its own topic instead of cluttering up mine thank you.

Ack, have you even read the O'ka's topic? The apostrophe is there only as guide to pronunciation! It means instead of pronouncing as you would in english, you pronounce it in that syllable order eg: the word for demon is turoovinfa. But pronouncing it as: tur-oov-in-fa would be wrong and in fact could be mistaken for something entirely different. The correct way to say it would be Turoh-oh-vin-fA, so I replace the - with '. You understand now, no?

Now, once I have a few images of the O'ka, some of you may be a bit disappointing at the Terran-ess of them. The reason for this is because I first developed them for SpecEvo, where humans normally exist in people's projects. My plan was that Sa'tuk'fa more complex life had been seeded from Earth animals around 400mya. But since Earth doesn't exist, that argument becomes moot. Or does it? Think about it. Yuu's Orealyianis are decently alien to us, while my O'ka (although obviously fundamentally different from Earth animals) look like furry dinosaurs. BUT, O'ka would look wildly alien to them, or the Graid. And since Earth doesn't exist, neither does the word terran. But, the thing is that new members wouldn't have the excuse that their creature isn't terran because Earth doesn't exist, because their creatures now look pretty much like thoose, like me, who didn't use their imagination*.
*not that I dont have any, trust me. It's just that I really don't want to change the whole thing, or even create another creature just because It was too terran for Kosmosis.

If you re-read the second post, I think you will understand the apostrophes. I'm sorry for the lack of creativeness and I'm afraid you will be even more disappointing as you read on. But I have a reason for that. I'm think of explaining the whole thing in its own topic.

572 000b.R-30 864b.R
572 000b.R- Scripture, ancient Gondan to be exact was used in the ancient empires that were founded by the surviving kindoms of the Age of a Thousand Warring Kingdoms. Ancient Gondan was a logography-based language. It seems to be fairly simple but despite its primitiveness, it will go a long way. 570 000b.R- Ancient Gondan has progressed to include a syllabary, which means it is no longer a logography but a proper language with a basic alphabet. This allows for much more complex and complete sentences which means even more information transfer. 569 500b.R- A modified form of Ancient Gondan is in use by Tarish tribes who find them selves under the Influence of the Gondan Kingdoms. 568 040b.R- aproximate date of the birth of Kinglo. 568 022b.R- A Tarish chieftan named Kinglo secretly murders high chief Jasfus and claims that his dying wish was to put him in power. By corrupting the church and a series of propaganda programs and threats, he manages to convince that he himself is the son of the War God, and so him himself. He spreads new religious teachings related to warfare, especially the one that you can only reach the afterlife of the Sun through glory on the battlefield. He also claims that the Gondans, despite them having an affulent trade history and being decently close friends, are the servents of demons and subsequently, enemies. 568 021b.R- Kinglo leads an attack on Ringod's colony city Dowrefla. After a 2 day siege, they burn the city to the ground. Later, after months of planning, Kinglo then sends a fleet of longships to the island of Yabahuut. But news had gotten through. There waiting for them was a force of Ringod spear and bolas men. But the Tarish out numbered them and eventually the Ringod soldiers retreat to a nearby fort, where they manage to hold them of until night. The Tarish tribesmen camp out near the coast. But a night time assult though causes dissary after the attackers set fire to the camp. A full assult then took place soon after. The Tarish forces, unprepared, were massacared. The remaining fled by boat while those who remained to fight were taken down by spearmen. In the midst of the mess, Kinglo is severly injured. He is rushed home but dies on the boat trip. His ,still unborn, nephew replaces him, as his only son was a misscarrige. 568 012b.R- Kinglo's nephew, Lukanikanis, reaches maturity and takes the crown. 568 006b.R- Lukanikanis attempts to throw the Gondans out of their homeland and starts a campaign with religious backgrounds. Thousands flock to fill the ranks of his armies. 567 999b.R- Lukanikanis' son takes over him after his death. 567 948b.R- Lukanikanis' great grandson leads an attack once again on the island Yabahuut. After an almost week long seige, the island is taken. 567 800b.R- Various Gondan kingdoms finally declare total war on their Tarish enemies. Yabahuut is taken quickly taken, along with various costal territories. 567 750b.R- By now, the Gondan campaigns have ment that the Tarish kingdom has receded from most of the east areas of the Talam rng. 566 600b.R- The Ringod Empire discoveres the secrets of Iron. This metal is the most advanced of its time, and gives it an upper hand in the battlefield. This major advantage means that military campaigns are awarded with huge swaths of land. This, combined with the Ringod's Empire superior military mind, General Hassledoor XVIII, means that in just around 15 years, almost 40 minor kindoms are wiped out. The Ringod becomes the most powerful and largest of the Gondan empires. But, as this once well guarded secret spreads out, their power decresses. But they are still a formidable foe to the other empires, especially their neibourghs Uondon and Gandad. 566 570b.R- Uondon and Gandad form an alliance to protect themselves from Ringod. 566 549b.R- Uondon and Gandad take their alliance to a new level. They merge their empires together into one, large, easily defendable and intimidating Valv Empire, with Hon III as their single leader. 566 530b.R- Iosif declares war on the Valv Empire. After a series of furious battles, they manage to claim south Iosif. Iosif proposes a peace treaty. 566 500b.R- Ringod proposes an, if one sided, alliance to the small Island Kingdom of Hukuud. They accept, knowing their small, undefended nation would be next on the Valv's list. 566 490b.R- Valv forces storm the Hukuud capital. Mass exodus to mainland. In response, Ringod attacks Valv's northern borders, aided by their advanced iorn weapons. 566 470b.R- The Valv Empire has been losing its war in the north, but they have full taken Hukuud. 566 477b.R- A treaty to provide troops for tribute is proposed between Ringod and the large Tarish tribedom of Tarnaksofth. A whole caravan worth of iron weapons, slaves and women is offered. Tarnaksofth accepts and sends an army of almost 10 000 over. 566 476b.R- A huge siege against the Valv city Uosind comenses. The Ringod army, aided by the Tarnaksofth, manage to capture the city and the surrounding province. Valv propose a peace treaty to the Ringod. 566 450b.R- The Valv have developing more advanced large ranged weapons, especially boat mounted ballistas and catapults. 566 400b.R- The Valv Empire breaks the peace treaty and successfully attacks a Ringod coastal trade city in a naval assault, using the new large scale ranged weapons to their advantage. 566 390b.R- Tarnaksofth breaks the alliance with Ringod as their troops get caught in a one sided war. 566 286b.R- The hundred year war between Ringod and Valv finally comes to an end after 104 years ,and almost 30 000 bodies, when Valv forses, led by General Fukrinask, capture the Ringod capital of Uoninisid. By so doing, the Ringod empire's territory comes under Valv rule. 560 000b.R- The Ishgalog Empire individually discoveres iron. This gives it a huge advantage over the Karan Karlors.

Part II 3mya-100 000b.R
3mya- Oka primitive society is still pretty simple and similar to earlier societies. A single male shares a small flock of females with a few other sub-ordinate males, usually blood-kin or close friends. They still follow the great herds, but they aren't as big as they were. Oka live far and wide to avoid competition but sometimes they meet up. This event may end in aggression, the sharing of females to avoid inter-breeding or, most commonly, the passing of ideas. This form of communication allows people to pass on often lifesaving information, not just for the benefit of their blood line, but the species as a whole. Another extremely interesting characteristic of the Oka is the way they treat the dead. Religion is now existent, thanks to their creative minds, and that brings all the superstition and big questions. One of them is of course, "Where do you go when die?". 2 980 000b.R- Temperatures start to warm and water that was frozen as ice returns to the sea. The deserts start to ebb away. 2 975 000b.R- The first tools with handles allow people to start carrying around their tools. Before, people had to use the tools they had crafted on the spot, meaning they couldn't put much time to them. But now, people can dedicate a lot of time to their crafts and tools improve. 2 970 000b.R- Sapiens start to spread up north and west. They soon reach the Brundussatu. 2 960 000b.R- As the Ice-Age mega fauna of Pangsa start to migrate north to escape the warming temperatures an rising waters, superstes follows their prey. The road starts to go downhill for the species. 2 940 000b.R- Sapiens cross the Dabahuut P. 2 935 000b.R- The first cave paintings and other physical manifestations of religion. Mythology has been a ever present concept in the swirling mess of the Oka's mind, but it will be now on that it will take on its physical form. 2 933 000b.R- The spear thrower, or atlatl is first used on the eastern hills of the Brundussatu. 2 930 000b.R- Sewing is invented on the Gando coast. This is very useful for moving valuable objects. Trade routes now pop up as the act becomes more easy. 2 900 000 000b.R- A sub species of the Oka pops up in Pangsa, sapiens oriens. They are taller and bulkier than their Gondan cousins and better adapted to the cold. Their expanse is from the Tarish Mountains, up the northern plains and all the way to the Jummut P. There ar various ethnic groups depending on the area. The most important are the Tarish, Karan, Daban, Targon, Shiou and Yummentine. 2 898 000b.R- The first bolas is used in hunting in the Gondahuut P. This is almost more effective than the western spear thrower. 2 895 000b.R- Sapiens mons evolve in the Brundussatu Mountains. This stocky race live in the southern areas of the mountain range. 2 890 000b.R- The obsidian culture appears in the eastern parts of the Brundussatu. They are expert stone knappers, and specialize in obsidian. 2 888 000b.R- The slave trade culture starts up on the West Gando coast. 2 880 000b.R- A culture quite different from others rises in Tarish areas. The warring one. Paleolithic Tarish practice endemic and ritual warfare and other forms of organized violence. It is used as right of passage or as an offering. It is not exactly proper warfare but that is set to change. 2 800 000b.R- World population rises to 1000million. 2 700 000b.R- The Isgalog, or Duovenatus ishgalog evolves. Their origin is unclear and it is also unsure if they are an actual species or a subspecies but once again they are set to change the world once again. They are not as hairy as other subspecies though, and are surprisingly tall, at 1.9. 2 660 000b.R- With the proclamation of the first grand Priestess Ushlakluum, the Ishgalog empire is founded. It is compromised of various family tribes bound together by honor, or conquest, to serve under the name of Ushlakluum. 2 660 080b.R- 3 generations after it was founded, the Ishgalog Empire starts its first military campaign against the "lower beings" aka, the Karan tribedoms. The organized and massive armies of the first unified society washed away the Karans old territory. 2 660 120b.R- The Ishagalog Empire reaches its maximum size. It stretches from its heart in the Jummut P. to the Targon valleys in the North to the foot of the Tarish mountains in the East, where they are held of by the Tarish's powerful warrior-chiefs. 2 660 500b.R- In the face of the Ishgalog threat, the spread out Tarish tribes to hold the very first Tarish Council. There they decide who will become the High Chief. Under the power and and wisdom of the High Chief, the Tarish should be safe in their unity. 2 660 600b.R- Karan tribes, unified for a short time, attempt to overthrow their Ishgalog overlords. A long and bloody guerrilla war starts in the Vuilara Mountains. 2 660 598b.R- The murder of the High Priestess sends the Empire into disarray. 2 660 556b.R- The Kara Unity overthrows the Ishgalog Empire from their territory. 2 660 554b.R- The Kara Unity breaks apart, but many tribes decide to pledge loyalty to other tribes in times of war. 2 660 400b.R- The Ishgalog Empire falls apart back to individual tribes from various factors. 2 500 000b.R- Obsidan trade route between the central desert nomads and Eastern Brundussatu obsidian knappers start. 2 300 000b.R- Sapiens mons reaches the Skytukhon rainforest. 2 000 000b.R- World population reaches 3000million. 1 970 000b.R- One of the most important inventions in the entire history of the Oka, the boat. It is first used around the Northern Gondan coast. 1 970 500b.R- The invention of the boat spreads to Pangsa and the southern areas of Gondahuut. 1 971 000b.R- Sapiens reach most of the near coast islands. 1 975 000b.R- Boats advance by miles. The first Gondan-Tarish trade route by sea starts up. 1 956 000b.R- Sapiens reach the sub continent of Fillimotakut. Here, animals who have never had the chance to adapt to these super predators face extinction in the face of the Oka. 1 940 000b.R- 60% of all of the unique beaked animals die out in the face of Oka hunting. 1 800 000b.R- Primitive attempts of domestication in Gondahuut. Sections of herds are rounded up and rigorously broken. Tribesmen would then lead their cattle to the best pastures and protect them from predators. This is a fundamentally change in the way people live and more importantly, eat. People can now have an almost certain supply of food. The age of the nomadic herders is ushered in and the hunter gather way of life ends in most parts of the Gondahuut. 1 790 000b.R- Another revolutionary invention that goes hand in hand with the domestication revolution in Gondahuut, the wheel. Long distance travel is made easy. This also allows the invention of the sail and with that the further colonizations of far off islands. 1 760 000b.R- The invention of sailing and the wheel reaches Pangsa. 1 700 000b.R- Pangsa has its own domestication revolution, but with different purposes. The domestication of wolves and other predators to help in hunting. 1 650 000b.R- The domestication of wolves reaches the west. 1 400 000b.R- A particularly bad ice age causes horrible drought in Gondahuut. 1 390 000b.R- The ice age ends. 1 000 000b.R- A large period of global warming starts. The world population reaches 8000million. 800 000b.R- Superstes, which has been restricted to the northern ice fields for hundreds of thousands of years, finally dies out. 750 000b.R- A new type of culture emerges in Gondahuut. Some of the nomadic herders settle down to semi-settled lives. The move onto lush new pastures for their herds, create temporary dwellings and their simply wait until the area has been striped. They then move on to the next feeding grounds. 730 000b.R- It is thought that the very first completely settled people emerge here. These people live on the smaller islands, where it is impossible to live of domesticated herds or hunt the wild animals. These people excel in boat crafting and are one of the few people to use efficiently the smaller breeds of domesticated animals. 700 000b.R- The semi-settled herders make the discovery that sets the course to the modern era. Farming. Setting sow to the seeds of the grasses that feed your cattle next to your house and then tending to them means that your animals no longer need to migrate to new pastures for food. The first non-nomadic cultures arise in Gondahuut P, where the most fertile plains are found. 695 000b.R- The settled way of life extends up the Gando coast and westwards to the Brundussatu hills. 690 000b.R- Being settled and growing your own crops and rearing cattle brings up new concepts. Such as "ownership". People may want what you have and may try to take through force. Non-ritual warfare springs up across the Gando coast. 650 000b.R- Metals. Metals are extremely useful compared to stone, they are much more malleable, sharper and much more lighter and are often prized for their beautiful. The era of metals is ushered into the Gondahuut. Copper is first utilized in some southern villages as decorative. 649 000b.R- The art of metal craft spreads to Pangsa. 648 000b.R- Copper knives are used as sacrificial knives. 645 000b.R- Tin deposits discovered in the Tarish mountains. 640 000b.R- Large permanent structures start popping up in Ishgalog areas. These structures are temples and resting places for the dead. While most people are still hunter-gatherers in Pangsa, the caretakers and Priestesses live permanently in the temples. During certain religious festivals, the temple's population swell temporarily. 632 000b.R- Bronze is invented in the Gondahuut Peninsula thanks to the copper-tin trade routs popping up, which is becoming a population center of the world. Bronze is much more durable than copper or tin and has more uses than the two. 630 000b.R- Cattle are now being farmed in Pangsa. The farming revolution and the eventual settlement of the Karans and Ishgalog quickly follows. The Tarish though still live their hunter-warrior lives. 610 000b.R- There are now three types of society in the Gondahuut: pastoralist nomads, farming villages and now city states. These are much larger villages, who are often more prepared for defensively than other villages. They also have a different form of government, a primitive form of monarchy. 590 000b.R- The Karans and the Ishgalog settle down too. The Karans come up with a society based on a rudimentary form of feudalism. Each lord’s, or Karlor, territory is split up between their sons, who engage in a form of large scale endemic warfare to capture land from his brother. Below them are warriors of high status who are given land in return for service and then peasants who are allowed to live and herd on the warriors also in return for service. But all the sons and their subjects must answer to the Karlor in time of war. The Ishgalog Empire is back, if in a smaller form, under the reighns of various priestesses, have captured a massive are of the Jimmut Peninsula from nomadic tribes. They rule with an iron grip and under the one name of the Emperor/Priestess, they have a large organized army. The Brunduscens though, are still stuck in the Stone Age. 580 000b.R- An ice age makes living in the now drought stricken Gondahuut very difficult. This may have sparked the era of violence and war waging that will plague the area for hundreds of years. It is now a time in history which is called the "The Age of a Thousand Warring Kingdoms". 576 000b.R- The era of violence ends. Thousands die and in the end only around 100 states are left, each one controlling various other cities which they had captured, killed the captured city's royal family and took control of their land. 572 000b.R- This is the end of an era. Prehistory is coming to an end in Gondahuut. The first written records are carved into temple walls and bones. They may be prays, stories or trade records. The Brundus Empire may never find out, as Ancient Gondan may never be translated. But one thing is known. Information transfer and progress speeds up to hyperspeed from now on. Huge empires will rise on the foundations of these small scriblings and history has not only changed, but started.

Part I 24mya-3mya
24mya- The first creatures with a theropodal gait evolves in the jungles of Gondahuut P. 16mya- The family Duovenatus, or Jacks, emerges. 15mya- The heydays of Duovenatus. Creatures like megalopsis rule the Gondahuut jungles. 14mya- Climate catastrophe as the Bundercow Strait closes and the world cools rapidly and the jungles disappear. The adaptable diuambulandus evolves to combat the change, but larger species die out. The long age of Ice-ages and Inter-glacial periods begin and wolves move in from the north. 10mya- Jacks successfully retake dominance from the wolves. The highly intelligent, and tool using, sagaxdimidio evolves. 9mya- Jacks move into the Brundus'satu mountains. 6mya- Novus the first species on the planet to show clear signs of sapience and history changes forever. 5mya- The revolutionary discovery fire speeds up progress, somehow. 4.8mya- Novus moves right up the newly formed Gando coastline, round the Dabahuut P. and into Pangsa. 4.5mya Novus frigus evolves. It is more suited to the colder environment of Pangsa than its ancestors. They also utilise the first effective ranged weapon, the spear. This revolutionises hunting. 3mya- The worlds temperature drops to levels not seen for eons. The average world temperature is 6ºC. The Gando Sea also widends, meaning that the species is separated. Deserts form in the south while icecaps grow in the north. The species take different paths to survive. Superstes evolves in Pangsa, well adapted to the cold with an attitude to match. In the south though, the boiling deserts push the other species to the limits of its creativity and ingenuity. The species in question is Duovenatus sapiens, the future inheritors of the world.

Culture Because the Oka are still fairly primitive and isolated, cultural diffusion has yet to take place, so they are many hundreds of unique cultures and societies. Because of this diversity, this section will centre on both the East and West Brundus Empires.
Classification Social position depends on your families status, gender and money. For males, there are 2 other ways to rise in rank; by either showing his economic stability by having a large harem or showing notable skill on the battlefield, which may be rewarded. If a lower class female marries a higher class male (classes though usually stay to themselves) she will rise to his level.
Roles Males who are married have more tasks to do than a married , contrary to other male dominant sophonts. They must attend military service as a rule, married or not. They must also, depending on rank, commit to a certain guild by the age of 20. If they do not they risk being de-classed and have their property taken, as they are not cooperating in the support of the nation. They, if they own one, tend to their animals. And finally, unless they pay for their children to go to a private school, which is extremely expensive and only serves boys, are responsible for the education of their children. Females on the other hand, do not need to do much. Before they are married off to someone, they are usually supported by their family, and once they are married, they are supported by the male. Their main role is to provide comfort and children to her mate, and to look as pretty as possible. Secondary roles include helping the male in farming or other jobs, looking after the children until they are 2, teaching their daughters about future life and some may join a omni-sex or female-only guild, usually associated with the production of luxury items.
Social Structure The most basic unit is the family, a male with 1 or more females and their children to be exact. The highest power power currently is the Emperor, who has political-administrative power. The Emperors power though is only secondary to his surrounding council though. Military power falls to certain guilds, while in the East Empire, religion has been withheld by the people themselves, ever since the Declaration of Independence of the Eastern Empire in 508a.R. The West though still uses a church, but it's power has been reduced ever since the great revolution (where a/b.R comes from).
Economy The base for both the East and West Empire is the guild. The Brundus style guild is made up of a group of people who specialise in some economic area. The 4 main economic areas that the guilds work on are; Agricultural, Production, Commerce and Military. The guild is not taxed as one thing, instead members are taxed specific amounts, but they must still pay tribute in some form or other to the emperor. The guilds keep their work force stocked through the fact that it is obligatory to choose a guild before the age of 20 or you risk de-classing. Money here is used widely, but the trade and haggling of goods is still common, as is the act of doing favours for goods. Brundus money is dividable by 14 (wip). The Eastern Empire wanted to decimalize money after independence, but the council ruled against in favour of easier trade. The guild based economy is spreading to southern Gando territories and Hukuud.
Conflict Management As noted many times before, the Oka are a generally violent race. So, it is not surprising that the most common way to solve problems between individuals is through fight. A private dual is the most common way but do not be fooled by the name. Dualing consists of violently wrestling, arms looked and thrashing at the opponents lower body with their claws. Depending on the matter it may be till one surrenders, or till the death in more serious matters. But these duals are usually fought over matters such as ownership or love. Matters concerning money though, are usually brought before a law council. When it comes to murder, many things can happen. The matter may be contained by the law and the criminal punished. If the murderer is not contained though, or hostility breaks out between the opposing families, it may end up becoming a feud.
Material Culture and Technology The technology in the Brundus Empire is based mainly upon steam power and the burning of coal and oils. Steam power drives a variety of machines, from pumps to factories to the great steel war ships of the east. Steam power though, has yet to be used efficiently in land transport. Other technologies which are used commonly are hot air balloons, which are used for both tourism and scouting in large battles and the production of high quality steel using very high temperatures which are impossible to reach in traditional smelters. Firearms are used widely now, though it is unlikely to find one in the common man's house. Guns have advanced to a decently high level, and early machine guns are being developed. Photography is still in its very early stages, but progress is being made. And, of course, the automatic printer. Printers now come in two forms: typewriters and steam-powered mass printers. Electricity, although its existence is known, has not been applied yet as a power source. Brundus fashion, like most furred species, is scarce. The most commonly worn pieces are foot-balls, small wooden balls that are kind of "held" in the wearers feet. A form of loincloth is normally worn in females, though not usually in men. Often elaborate robes are worn in both genders. In men, they save the tops of their head and wear cylindrical hats, which are very distinctive and one of the defining features of Brundus culture. These hats have their origin in a distant religious practise and it is now considered taboo not to wear one in public.

Psychology Consciousness and Memory The first signs of consciousness was around 6mya, with the most famous pre-sapiens species being novus. The Oka are conscious only when awake, but there are of course tales of Trance Walkers or other magik events, but these are considered more as manipulation by demons, spirits of gods. But this is usually dismissed by western society anyway. Memory is usually quite good, but varies on the topic that needs remembering. For example a hunter can, after observing, learn where a herd goes to feed, drink or breed for many, many years. But it will take a bit more drumming in to learn a mathematical equation. But then again it depends, on the individual personality and upbringing. Dreams are usual, and recent investigations have shown that in most individuals, dreams are often lucid. Mental disorders have a relatively high rate, due to the higher mutation rate and problems in foetus’ developing skulls, which is surprisingly common. Most cultures reject or kill such individuals as soon as the problems become apparent. Some may believe they have been possessed, and commit "mercy" killings. Others believe the original baby has been eaten by a demon that has taking its place but a new mentality, sympathy and pity, is showing in more advanced cultures.
Mentality and Emotion Oka mentality is similar to that of most other sapient species but of course depends on upbringing. The male>female society is extremely common, even in prehistory, when they had a society somewhat similar to a lion pride. It is said they are natural xenophobes, and this is slightly true. Having lived in prides in which any male you came across could either kick you off the throne or kill your babies and **** you and the pronounced difference between various ethnic groups has set a generally racist mindset. They are still pretty primitive in the way they see the world, they are highly superstitious. They are often violent but are curious and patient. These factors are all thanks to their stalker predator ancestry. And although they are famed for their mindless patriotism, this is most extreme in the Karan region, and once again is all due to upbringing. They see the world in a 3-dimensional manner; you need to be able to understand your position and the environment if you wish to hunt efficiently in a pack. Death and killing has always been present in life, often from a young age. The whole circle of predator and prey, and the more recent practises of war, has made the way they see death a more light matter. But, like in nearly all sapient species, the death of a loved one is always a loss for an individual.
