"I'd appreciate it...." Ke'ras said, spitting another curse in Photise beneath his breath and rubbing the outside of his thigh, whereupon sat a grazed hole. He noted the Chivi's look at the wound he was rubbing.
"We got held up by a Shadow raiding fleet that ambushed us. Fought them off, but few of us got wounded. Don't worry, the medi-gel and my enhanced composition will have it sorted out; the pain is more from the medi-gel working than the actual wound." He straightened up to his full height, standing taller than the Chivi. "Anyway, I'd appreciate the low-down." He extended a hand. "Lieutenant Ke'ras. You are?"
