The Athanatsu System

"The Terran-Ixian exodus marked the last days of the foreign legions' presence in the eyes of the known galaxy. It seemed that the passage of time would eventually erase evidence of their existence, driving them to the realm of myth and ancient lore. And it would truly be so, if it were not for the lasting legacy that they left behind to their chosen successors.

A vast and lifeless cloud of orbiting dust and slab, such was the ocean of husks which surrounded the once great Starship Athanatsu. Literally appointed as the "Undying One" in the words of the Terrans who created her, the remnants of the late vessel now possessed a destiny faithful to her given name.

In destruction's stead another, living, purpose was commanded of the now worn craft.

Consigned to the nascent Orealyianis Monarchy, her new era of hosts lost no time in exploring her, learning her secrets, injecting her new life.

From her flesh and bone rose many worlds, and with them vessels to protect her people and spread their influence across the six galactic winds."

- Nagar Suna, Atlas of Local Systems

The Athanatsu System \ˈə-tha-ˌnət-sü ˈsis-təm\ is a unary sub tri-unary star system composed of the main star Athanatsu, the subordinate stars Isara, Dalara and Talara, and the myriad celestial bodies revolving around them, all of which originated from the remnants of a decommissioned Terran-Ixian starship. Of the many objects that orbit the stars, most of the charted land is bound within five relatively solitary bodies whose orbits have been cleared of significant debris, namely Tanariadne, Shudariadne, Bisiriadne, Anagnostine IX and Anakinostine I. All of these entities consist primarily of scavenged starship components, with the notable exception of Bisiriadne, which serves as a replica of the original Orealyianis home planet and is thus mainly composed of regular rock and metal.

The Athanatsu System hosts a plethora of still uncharted regions populated by objects ranging from those the size of small asteroids right up to entire dwarf planets. Closely orbiting the main star Athanatsu is a ring of material known as the Inner Athanatsu Ring, composed of uncleared debris. The Inner and Outer Isara Rings, which lie before and after the orbital path of Tanariadne, respectively, are also composed of debris. The First, Second and Third Dalara Rings are equally composed of starship fragments, and are located before Shudariadne's orbit, in the gap between Shudariadne and Bisiriadne, and beyond Bisiriane's orbit, respectively. The First, Second and Third Talara Rings are made of the vessel's remnants as well, and are positioned relative to Anagnostine IX and Anakinostine I in the same manner as the Dalara Rings. Each of the subordinate stars host two Auxiliary Bands of minor bodies located in their respective Lagrangian points. Beyond all of these concentrations of bodies exist the Outer Athanatsu Ring, which forms the outermost portion of the system. In addition to these, various other small body populations freely travel between regions.

Anakinostine I and countless other less known bodies are orbited by significantly massive satellites, classified as moons. Tanariadne, Shudariadne, Anagnostine IX, Anakinostine I and Anakinostine II are surrounded by a shroud of orbital structures and spacecraft. The stellar wind of the system's four stars are relatively weak for their apparent size, though they still create a unified stell-wind bubble which reaches out to the edge of the system.

The Athanatsu System is situated near the astronomical hub of the Local Sector, which contains the home systems of many other prominent civilizations.

"That bastard is watching that **** playing with a ****" should actually be a perfectly polite sentence to describe a child watching a dog play with some sticks. But it's not, because they somehow became offensive.
